> Configurable Elemental Sniper Rifle

Range: 5-6km
Ammo: Ice / Laser / Sonic / Electric
Reload: 3.8 seconds
Capacity: 6
Training: Specialist

The CESR, aka Hand of God, is a varietal-ammo fully configurable sniper rifle specially fitted to retain 99.98% firing accuracy at 5 kilometers at an amazing temperature range of 20-800 Kelvins.

While inefficient at firing conventional ballistic rounds, the Hand of God is the only available infantry rifle that can fire both stealth-issue .223 caliber keratin-ice rounds, and the HeatFlash™ brand laser bullets. The latter is an expensive cartridge that emits a laser beam instantly heating a small portion of surface to 700K. This results in a destructive expansion and combustion of the surface. It is recommended that peace-keeping units keep the cartridge timer under 0.5 milliseconds as overexposure can cause fatal damage.

Peacekeepers have occasionally used the CESR with an unconventional sonic cartridge, capable penetrating walls to cause extreme nausea and semi-consciousness on hostage-takers. Reports of fatal brain hemorrhaging has led to controversy.

Finally, the Hand of God can also fire an experimental new stun cartridge that delivers a modified electromagnetic charge of over 600,000 volts of DC current to a target, which can then jump to multiple nearby targets to disable several opponents at once. Though banned at one point, it has since come into use again after it was proved that it did not exceed international standards of pain generation.

> Quantum "Shotblast" Flak Emitter

Range:
30m
Ammo: Cryon® particles
Reload: 2.5 seconds
Capacity: 24
Training: Intermediate

In spite of its designer’s wishes, the Quantum Flak Emitter has been affectionately dubbed by soldiers as the “Ice Cream Gun” or the “Shotblast.” This is due to its ungraceful design, where two barrels emit opposite polarities of a trademarked quantum particle called Cryon®. As the two beams modulate, critical intersections forcefully erupt into shards of ice in random patterns, not unlike a 20th century civilian favorite known as a “double barreled shotgun.”

But since these shards of ice are materialized and not projected, the QFE has excellent armor penetration of organic beings, and it has been known to gruesomely shred entire mobs of well-protected protesters. Though hardly a tasteful weapon, its tactical applications are well appreciated by an outnumbered wielder.

> AF-47 Famine Grenades

Range: Thrown range, 20m blast dispersion radius
Ammo: Denourishing retrovirus
Reload: N/A
Capacity: N/A
Training: Novice

Although named in tribute to the most legendary insurgency and rebel weapon of all time, the AF-47 is not an assault rifle, but a grenade. Invented at an Arab Reclamationist R&D lab in the late 20's, and subsequently banned by all but rogue nations, famine grenades are simply cheap, mass-produced hand grenades that release a potent retroviral agent causing rapid malnutrition. Within seconds, a target's body can consume 80% of its protein, carbohydrate, and fat stores, producing excessive heat, shock, and dehydration. The virus is very contagious.

Favored by rebel forces for their ease of production (less explosive agent), recoverability (the injured can be treated with nutrients instead of complicated medical care), and the politcal irony of attacking wealthy nations with weaponized hunger, they are a guerilla favorite. While the injuries caused by famine grenades are not usually grievous, and rarely permanent, they are very effective for rendering invaders vulnerable, especially in the desert.

> Fianna Interception Suit - (FIS)

Range: 40m sensor range
CPU: Freya Model IV (organic processor)
Power: Bioelectricity
Armor:
Bioengineered ceramic and carbide composites
Training:
Specialist

When Scotland's Denigma Center became a center for Western AI research before the Reversal Wars, one of their most feared creations was the Fianna Interception Suit. Combining the once-thought archaic art of Jeet Kune Do, the Way of the Intercepting Fist, with innovations in kinesthesiology and nanotech materials, scientists were able to create a suit that could turn its user into an incredible melee specialist. The Ubermensch arms race was born.

The suit boasts the ability to augment human strength by up to ten times, and more importantly, increase muscle movement speeds by up to three times safely. Footfall sounds are algorithmically reduced through reprogrammed motion. The oxygenated skin can infuse the bloodstream to keep the wearer underwater for up to 30 minutes.

With the human-assisted AI of the FIS on, the user can mentally configure attack sequences for as many as five opponents at once, and then activate their body to execute the maneuvers and strikes optimally. The suit can analyze enemy attack patterns, minimize damage taken, process satellite feed of enemy profiles, and also serve as durable body armor.

In covert U.S. ops, the FIS is configured with expansion cores for medical support, weapon logistics, real-time cartography, and threat detection. Just one talented and highly trained agent with an FIS suit and a support team can replace entire spec ops squads.
